My Story
I was introduced to Scentsy on March 2010 when a friend of mine invited me to a party that one of her friends was having. I went, thinking that I needed to replace the tart warmer that I had broken. I went to that party and found some scents that I really liked. I also found the cutest warmer to melt the scents in. At that point, I think I was hooked on this stuff. My friend became a consultant and I had a couple of parties through her. She made the comment that I bought so much, that I ought to sell it. I thought about it for a while because I work a full time and a part time job. I didn't know if I really had the time to put into a business like this. On February 1, 2011 I decided to sign up to be a consultant. Because of starting this journey with Scentsy, I have met a lot of people and have come out of my shell a little bit. I am still the same introverted person that I have always been, but I have something that requires me to leave my comfort zone once in a while. I have also gotten to travel a little bit because of different events that I have attended through Scentsy. I have been to Las Vegas twice, Indianapolis, St. Louis and will be going to Nashville in the summer of 2016 because of this Scentsy journey. My goal this year is to pay for my trip to our annual Scentsy reunion entirely with commission. Another goal of mine is to earn this year’s summer incentive. It will require me to step out of my comfort zone, but I am prepared for the challenge. A huge passion of mine is cheerleading. Without Scentsy, I am not sure that I would have the time to coach youth cheering because I would be working all of the time. At this point in my life, I am able to teach fundamentals of cheerleading to 1st – 6th graders and believe that my involvement with Scentsy is integral in my being able to do that.
